Unique Identifier

Does Quickbooks have a unique identifier for each customer? Like an email address or a donor id?

We are looking to allow more giving options on our new website and will need a way to upload our Quickbooks records so that those who give will be able to see the total of their giving regardless of whether they gave it in church or online.

We're not sure if we can continue to use Quickbooks or if we need software that is designed for donations, like donor pro. Any advice would be appreciated.
