TAX DEDUCTIBLE

I play the organ at church and am not paid for this. Can I claim a tax deductible for a certain amount if the secretary gives me a slip stating as a donation to the church.

I serve as the church Secretary and don't get paid. Is this tax deductible?

You can't deduct your time. If the only reason you are going to the church is to perform the service to the congregation, you might consider deducting transportation expenses - i.e. mileage
