Can a church proclaim a love offering as long as church supported?

Answer

You can take up and give love offerings any time you wish...just remember...if taken up through the church for the pastor or visiting minister...it will be taxable income for the recipient.

So you will need to report it on the appropriate tax document (W-2 or 1099).
